We return to Rumleigh for summer 2025 with amazing new menus featuring local produce cooked over charcoal grills and in a wood fired oven. You're welcome to enjoy a stroll around this organic farm and pre-dinner drinks in the courtyard before dining in the ancient farmstead barn.

Fresh wood fired oven baked focaccia
Dressed houmous, fave e cicoria or baba ghanoush
Anti pasti: fennel salami - caponata - zucchini and mint fritters herby aioli

Grilled sardines, salsa verde
Mussel pans, cream and cider
Fresh tuna carpaccio with capers and pine nuts
Tied and stuffed Cornish mackerel, gooseberry, basil and citrus salsa
Main course
Wood fired lamb leg stuffed with apricots, pine nuts and mint with grilled fennel, caper and tomato ragu and salsa verde
One of the following (depending on the chef) as the vegetarian option (must be pre-booked)*
Courgette ricotta, spinach and chilli rotolo
BBQ marinated king oyster mushrooms, pesto and aubergine ragu
Seasonal salads
Grilled courgettes, beans and ricotta
Faro salad
Grilled little gems, cacio pepe dressing

Poached peach pavlova - fresh raspberries

Rumleigh Farm will be running a bar with a specially selected wine list from Sovereign Wines in Tavistock and also cocktails for pre-dinner drinks. Alternatively you can still BYO. This is a shared dining experience and you'll be sitting at a table for eight.
My cookery is heavily influenced by French, Italian, Spanish and Southern Mediterranean food cultures, with some modern twists. I am passionate about great taste and big on flavour, quality ingredients and local provenance. We don't do foams, pea shoots or whipped butter! *Vegetarians are catered for with equal gusto - just please indicate how many vegetarians are in your party when booking. Sorry, but we cannot cater for other specific diets or food allergies, due to nature of the event, the food we cook and the kitchen, which is not allergen free. Menu subject to change due to availability of ingredients.
You are very welcome to arrive up to an hour and half before the event to walk around the farm down to the river and/or enjoy pre-dinner drinks in the courtyard, subject to weather. We ask you to be seated ready for service at 7 pm. We'll close up at 10 pm-ish.
Please note there is a £1.20 booking service fee applied for this event. If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know 72 hours before the event and we will offer you a full refund. After 72 hours, we can only offer a refund if we are able to re-sell your ticket(s). If you can't come at the last minute, please do let us know so we don't lay up a place for you. Details about parking etc. will be sent prior to the evening.
